In partnership with The North Face, Kathmandu Sport Climbing Center has hosted Global Climbing Day for the past five years. Global Climbing Day is a celebration of the climbing community and the opportunities we find in every obstacle.
Walls are meant for climbing. Every year we open our doors to climbers of all levels — seasoned veterans, curious beginners, and first-timers who have never touched a wall. The day is filled with open climbing sessions, route-setting competitions, talks from professional climbers, and a shared meal at the end of the day.
