Apple Crag

Apple Crag sits at the edge of Nepal's highest apple orchards in Bhratang village, where the scent of mountain fruit mingles with chalk dust. The wall faces southeast, catching morning sun and cooling into shade by early afternoon — ideal climbing conditions throughout the season. The rock is compact, featured limestone with pockets and sidepulls that reward technical footwork. The lower tier offers some of the best beginner-to-intermediate sport climbing in the Manang valley, while the upper wall pushes into serious 7c and 8a territory with powerful sequences on small holds. Every route here has views straight up the Marsyangdi gorge toward Gangapurna and the ice face of Annapurna III.
