Roadside Cliff
The Roadside Cliff requires no introduction to serious sport climbers — 'Sea of Holes' has a reputation that reaches beyond Nepal's borders. This compact wall punches well above its size: six routes, all at 7a+ or above, on a section of limestone riddled with natural solution holes and sharp tufas. The rock here is harder, more featured, and more demanding than anywhere else in the Manang valley. Conditions are best in the morning before the sun crests the ridgeline. Strong winds can affect conditions on the top half of longer routes. A rest day after Apple Crag is recommended before attempting the Roadside Cliff. This crag is strictly for experienced outdoor sport climbers.
